The Ultra-Challenging Chunin Exams with a 0.5% Pass Rate, Plus All-New Jonin Exams Unveiled

AWAJI, JAPAN, September 17, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Nijigen No Mori, the popular anime theme park located on Awaji Island　in Japan, near Kobe and Osaka, has announced Volume 4 of its autumn initiative, the "NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO Naruto Uzumaki Birthday Festival 2026." Celebrating the protagonist Naruto Uzumaki’s birthday on October 10 through eight unique projects, Volume 4 marks the return of the park's highest-difficulty attraction event, the "Chunin Exams," alongside the unprecedented debut of the top-secret "Jonin Exams." The event will run on weekends and national holidays from Saturday, September 26 to Sunday, November 29, 2026.

Recreating the iconic exam arc from the anime series, the Chunin Exams boast a formidable pass rate of just 0.5%. Candidates must navigate three rigorous stages:
Stage 1: True/False Quiz
Stage 2: Scroll Battle
Stage 3: Classified (Details disclosed exclusively to participants who pass Stage 2)

Successful candidates will be recognized as Chunin and awarded an official NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO Certificate of Passing.

New Rank Advancement: The Jonin Exams
In addition, visitors who have previously passed the Chunin Exams can now embark on specialized missions to earn "Letters of Recommendation." Upon collecting two Letters of Recommendation, qualified Chunin unlock the right to attempt the confidential Jonin Exams to earn the title of "Shinobi-Zato Jonin." The contents of the Jonin Exam remain strictly classified and will only be revealed to eligible candidates.

Chunin who overcome the trial and pass the Jonin Exams will receive an exclusive Shinobi-Zato Jonin Original Pin Badge engraved with their own unique serial number on the back. Furthermore, wearing this badge on future visits to NARUTO&BORUTO SHINOBI-ZATO entitles the bearer to double the standard reward of collectible trading cards given upon completing the "Ten no Maki" (Heaven Scroll) and "Chi no Maki" (Earth Scroll) missions.

① By Highway Bus
From Kansai International Airport, take a highway bus bound for Sannomiya, Namba, or Umeda. Transfer at one of these major hubs to a highway bus heading to Awaji Island. Please get off at either “Awaji IC” or “Nijigen no Mori.” Only one transfer is required, and the total travel time is approximately 3 hours.
② By Train + Highway Bus
From Kansai International Airport, travel by JR or Nankai Railway to the Osaka, Namba, or Sannomiya area. From there, transfer to a highway bus bound for Awaji Island. Please get off at either “Awaji IC” or “Nijigen no Mori.” The total travel time is approximately 3 hours.
